I guess you could say these are a few "interesting" facts about me, at least in regard to 10 Years:

-I've seen them three times in concert...all being in the same month, in November 2007.  They came to NYC twice, and then came to Sayreville, New Jersey once.  So I've attended those shows so far...but plan on going to a looooot more.

-I waited over two years to see them in concert...they didn't seem to ever come close, so I waited it out.  And I must say, it was SO worth it in the end.  November 1st, 2007 [my very first 10 Years show] is a night I will surely never forget, since it was the best concert I've ever been to.  The energy that they have on stage is absolutely amazing...and what really struck me in awe was the fact that they achknowledged their fans.  They'd either nod when they saw me singing, or they would even point and smile.  Jesse especially...he seemed to keep coming over to my side of the stage, point at me, and sing to me...all while keeping that stare of his.  It's hard finding that in bands nowadays, which is why these guys are my favorite guys to see live.

-I was totally caller #1 on their most recent Rockline Interview.  I RULE.  But seriously, I called 10 minutes early [being the little fangirl I was, hehehe], and then after waiting on hold for about a half hour, I asked them about their album art and what the significance of it was.

-So far, I've given two "art" pieces to the band...digital art, that is.  I just printed them out on posters, laminated them, and gave 'em to Jesse [since he's all into the artsy stuff...haha].  One was based off of "Slowly Falling Awake" [that's the last section of "The Autumn Effect"], and the other was based off of "Insects."  But it was pretty cool being acknowledged and stuff...both times, he gave me a hug, hehehe.

So yes...obviously I love the band and would love to see them again...unfortunately I missed them on May 31st when they came to Troy, NY...I was pretty pissed.  But hopefully I'll be able to see them soon.  I love those boys.
